About Us / Dr. Maggie Chung

Dr. Maggie Chung

Dr. Maggie Chung aims to provide patients with positive dental experiences in the most gentle, comfortable manner.

She seeks to empower patients to a lifetime of excellent dental health by preventing dental disease through patient education. Her approach to the practice of dentistry is to preserve the natural dentition by using minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Chung obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology & Immunology and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from McGill University. She completed her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at UCLA. She is a current member of Canadian Dental Association, BC Dental Association, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, exploring new cuisines, outdoor activities such as hiking, rollerblading and camping.

About Us / Dr. Nicki De Francesco

Dr. Nicki De Francesco

Dr. Nicki De Francesco is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Orthodontics at the University of British Columbia (U.B.C.) Faculty of Dentistry

At U.B.C she is a consultant and teaches orthodontics to 3rd and 4th year students in the dental degree program. Dr. De Francesco has a total of 27 years of experience and has practiced in Vancouver and the lower mainland, the interior of B.C. and on Vancouver Island.

Dr. De Francesco enjoys participating in several orthodontic study clubs and has many hobbies including gardening, golfing, skiing, yoga, singing, sculpting in stone and clay, and jogging. Dr. De Francesco enjoys volunteering in the community, supporting local and international charities, particularly those charities involved in helping children living in disadvantaged circumstances, and spending quality time with family and friends. She has been a part of the Vancouver Orthodontics team since this high technology practice opened.

About Us / Dr. Henry Chang

Dr. Henry Chang

Dr. Chang has provided comprehensive multidisciplinary oral health care and treatment of dental emergencies for 7 years.

Dr. Henry Chang obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of British Columbia in 2006 and then obtained his certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD), Boston University.

After a year of working as a full-time AEGD resident at Boston University Dental Health Center, he moved to Richmond, Canada, and started his dental practice.

Dr. Henry Chang has maintained his commitment to continuing education by attending Vancouver Institute of Osseointegration (VIOSS) , which has focused in training dentists from treatment planning to the management of surgical and prosthetic implant therapy.

About Us / Joanne Jung

Joanne Jung

Born and raised in Seoul Korea, Joanne Jung began her career in Dentistry in 2003.

In Seoul, she practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 8 years until she came to Vancouver where she has completed College of Dental Hygienist of British Columbia Clinical Examination.

She believes that dental health is best achieved through a multi-faceted approach, paired with care and understanding of the needs of each patient. Joanne enjoys running, outdoor activities, reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.
